"I would say the only item of disconnect was the day of closing and seeing a new closing disclosure and being prepared for it. It resulted in delays for the notary and had the potential to halt the refinance while Dana and I discussed the pros and cons of that new disclosure. While there was a conversation about the home owners insurance needing to be paid before closing there was not a new Closing Disclosure sent out with that revised information to prepare us for what that would look like and how it would negatively impact our original plan when we decided to take out an extra amount."
